Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and monitor chemical industry projects from initiation to completion.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with production, R&D, quality, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Prepare and present regular project reports and updates to senior management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and environmental requirements.
Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
Manage vendor and contractor relationships for timely and quality delivery of project components.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 10–15 years in project management roles within the chemical or related manufacturing industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing medium to large-scale projects.
Certification in Project Management or equivalent project management qualification is preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple data sources and meet reporting timelines.
Proficiency in project management software.
Sound understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
